Ploy Chariyaves is one of the most influential lifestyle gurus of Thailand. She is also an artist, translator, and writer with more than 20 books published about travel, fashion, coee, breakfast, and lifestyle. For her 22nd book titled ‘Unique Hong Kong’, we were responsible for the art direction and design of the whole book.

Unique Hong Kong is a travel guide book on the premise that it will lead you to the new inspiring places through the eyes of a guru. It is an ultimate resource for travelers who want to experience Hong Kong in a new and unique way. We captured the essence of this guide book and vividly portrayed through a series of bold illustrations. Each section employed different styles of illustration making connections between objects and popular Hong Kong culture. Words include one of a kind, signature, hidden gems, special, distinctive and only were used to strengthen the idea of unique and displayed resemblingly as clutter street neon signs in Hong Kong.
